Semi-annual postcard pin-up artist call
MINT’s Semi-Annual Postcard Pin-up is one of the times we offer the opportunity for ALL interested artists to exhibit. This allows our creative team and gallery audience to check out new artists and see new works from familiar artists. Our next Semi-Annual Postcard Pin-Up will be on display with works for sale at our MINT @ The MET space on August 10, 2019 from 7-10pm in conjunction with the opening of our From the Artist’s Collection exhibit.
This event supports MINT, a 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization whose mission is to make Atlanta a destination for the arts: a cultural hub where artists thrive, patrons experience transformative work, and communities are activated and engaged. We invite risk taking, encourage curiosity, and advance brilliant and challenging work.
Artists MUST complete the Registration Form (link at bottom of page) prior to dropping off works at the gallery. Computers will be available in the gallery during the drop-off period, but we recommend completing this prior for expediency and for your convenience.
Works may not exceed 5” x 7” (postcard size). This includes any framing/matting should you choose to include.
Artists may submit up to TEN works
All submissions MUST have artist name, title, and price listed back of work and this information MUST match what is provided on the Registration Form (see link below).
All works must be 2D or able to be wall-hung/mounted
Artists may sell works individually or as a set - no individual piece may be priced over $75 and no set may be priced over $150
Artists agree to donate 50% or 100% of the selling price to MINT - payments will be done through PayPal.
You will receive an email if your artwork is not sold at the event so that you can arrange to pick it up.
All unsold artworks will be available for pickup by the artist during regular gallery hours (Tue-Sat 11am-6pm) beginning Tuesday, August 13 through Saturday, August 31. If you need to arrange another time to pick up unsold artwork, please email us at email@example.com. Any works not picked up by (or emailed about) by August 31 will be considered a donation to MINT.
