Atlanta, Georgia – MINT is pleased to present our Annual Juried Exhibition titled Duplexity, curated by Tiffany LaTrice. The show opens April 13th and is on view through May 23rd at MINT’s Downtown gallery, 92 Peachtree Street SW. . There will be an opening reception for the exhibit on April 13th from 7-10pm, and a curator’s talk on April 27th at 2pm.
Of the exhibit, curator Tiffany LaTrice comments: “the exhibition explores the tensions and nuances of how individuals navigate the duality of the self and explores how our relational experiences can fuel togetherness or divisiveness.”
MINT’s sixth Annual Juried Exhibition again seeks to showcase the work of some of the most dynamic and innovative emerging cultural producers currently working in the United States. Each year a selected juror chooses the best and brightest from over 1,500 submissions and selected artists are paid a stipend according to W.A.G.E. guidelines. This year’s artists include: Caleb Jamel Brown, Desmond Beach, Tyler Bohm, Hannah Burton, Merritt Cates, Sydney Daniel, Ariel Dannielle, Jackie Dorage, John Hartford V, Lewinale Havette, Roxane Hollosi, Yasin Jalal, Orianna Montenegro, and Hannah Pasedag.
